Love and Nature
I was sitting in the Queens Botanical Gardens today. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I felt something magical going on there. I was surrounded by all these trees with fall colored leaves in a kind of circle and the sky above was a medley of bright colors, golden being the most striking of them. It was beautiful!
Then a thought came to me. Why do we feel love so easily for nature? Continuing on the same note as my previous post on Love, the reason we feel love so easily for nature is because nature is pristine, the closest, untarnished, untouched by imperfect humanity, creation of God. Hence it comes naturally to see God in nature, and hence love nature!
